This class will be conducted in three “blocks”:
I. Tools – For the study of Scripture: a concordance, commentaries, reading plans, your topical notes, and software programs such as e-Sword or Blue Letter Bible.
II. Hermeneutics – This involves basic rules for interpreting the Bible, e.g., the rule of “context”.
III. Theological Topics – There are differing views on many theological topics. We will study them with the tools and rules from the first two blocks
Those who cannot attend may access the notes and exercises online. Completion of readings, and exercises will make the class more meaningful.
