Wondering What to Expect at a Weekend Service at JBC?

Expect a “hello”, an informational bulletin, and an enthusiastic handshake from our greeters

Expect to experience God through the worship and the Word
Expect to hear “I LOVE YOU” from the Pastor at the start of each sermon…and for the congregation to say it back! This is a reflection and affirmation of our commitment as a church to love one another!
Expect an opportunity for prayer! We love to pray for one another and that includes YOU! Whether by submitting a prayer request in writing on a card passed at the end of a service, or taking the opportunity to pray with someone after a Service, we don’t want you to leave without having had an opportunity to ask for and receive prayer!

Wear whatever you are comfortable in! JBC is a casual atmosphere — there will be lots of jeans (and shorts in the summer!)
There are no KidZone classes on Saturday nights.
KidZone classes are available for ages 0-5th grade on Sundays at 9:00/10:30am.
Expect a blend of contemporary and modern worship music - here is a spotify playlist to give you an idea!

-Worship
-Teaching/Sermon
-Closing Prayer
-Offering (there will be no pressure to give!)

Wednesday Night Services are at 6:30pm in the Main Sanctuary Mid-Sept thru Mid-May

The 6:30pm Wednesday Night opens with contemporary worship. The teaching time is a unique sermon by Pastor Dee Duke that is not duplicated in the weekend Services.
There is an AWANA Program for kids ages 3-18 into on Wednesday nights (Sept-April) from 6pm-8:15am (in place of traditional childcare). This program has limited space, so register them in August to ensure a spot!
Note: AWANA does now have a waitlist. The two clubs with space are:
Sparks (K-2nd grade)
Trek (Middle School (6th-8th)
