√ Oct 1 – Leadership Classes Start – Leadership 1 (6pm weekly) & Leadership 2 (7:30pm weekly) classes taught by Pastor Dee Duke – sign up by going to jbc.church/leadership-classes

√ Oct 1 – 4/5 Youth Group – 6pm in the Youth Center, open to all 4th/5th graders on the 1st Thursday of most months!

√ Oct 3 – Men’s Breakfast – 7am in the gym – featured speaker is Pastor Dee Duke on the topic “Killing Bears”

√ Oct 3 – Clothing Closet – 11am-1pm in the Gymnasium. (While we will accept donations during office hours, due to limited storage at JBC, you are encouraged to bring clothing donations during Clothing Closet events! No shoes please)

√ Oct 4 – “Getting to Know You” New Attenders Lunch – 12pm, old chapel. If you've started attending in the past few months, you're invited! To RSVP: contact the office or write "New Attenders Lunch" on a prayer card!

√ Oct 10 – Ladies “Great Exchange” – 9am-11am, come fellowship, exchange crafts, accessories, and “shop” the free clothing closet! (Now accepting new and gently used crafts/Fashion accessories such as purses and jewelry at the Women’s Ministry counter in the foyer!)

√ Oct 11 – Liberia Mission Trip Interest Meeting – 12pm in DC202. Trip tentatively scheduled for Jan 28-Feb 8, 2027, led by Mike Dedera & Sherri Wilson.

√ Oct 17 – Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party – 1-3pm in the gym. The VBS Children earned $10K for the purpose of filling 500 shoeboxes for the Operation Christmas Child program. Now we get to fill the boxes with the items that money purchased! Come help pack them!

√ Oct 29 – Hope Kit Packing Party – 5-6:30pm in the gym. Come help pack bags of hygiene & other useful items that will be distributed to the unhoused in our community
