Associate Pastor Kevin Hall
Kevin grew up in New England as one of nine children. Though he knew of the Lord, he didn’t yet understand that he could have a personal relationship with Him.
In 1992, while living in Raleigh, North Carolina, Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior after listening to Pastor Charles Stanley. Later that year, he moved to Oregon to work for Hewlett-Packard in Corvallis and began attending St. Edwards Catholic Church while living in Lebanon.
A Promise Keepers rally at Oregon State University’s Gill Coliseum in 1995 opened Kevin’s eyes to the power of worship as 10,000 men lifted their voices in praise. Soon after, he began attending the Church of the Nazarene in Corvallis, where he met his future wife, Charlene. They married in 1996 and raised two children, Jessica and Ryan, in North Albany.
Sensing God’s call to ministry, Kevin pursued Ministerial Studies through the Nazarene Church and later graduated from Calvary Chapel’s School of Ministry in Corvallis. He served as an elder and taught Sunday School, helping young hearts grow in their faith.
After a 17-year career as an IT Manager at Samaritan Health Services, Kevin retired in 2026 and joyfully joined the Jefferson Baptist Church team as an Associate Pastor. He’s deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve, teach, and walk alongside others as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
Kevin’s heart is to help others discover the joy and freedom of knowing Jesus personally — and to encourage believers to live out their faith with courage, compassion, and grace.
