Young Adult/College Age Group

Josiah Hatfield was born and raised in Oregon. He grew up attending Agape Family Fellowship which was JBC's first church plant. After graduating High School, Josiah pursued a music education degree at Corban University to become a music teacher. After being in school in Oregon for 3 years, God led him to transfer to a school in Ohio called Cedarville University. The time spent there was probably the hardest season of his life, but God used that year to plant and nurture a desire for ministry in him! Upon his return, Josiah started attending JBC, finished his music degree at Corban, and started pursing what God had for him in ministry!

During the summer of 2025, Josiah took on the responsibility of running the Young Adults Group. He has a passion to see Young men and women thrive in faith and pursue the Lord in the midst of a broken and twisted world. He also serves on the worship teams and helps out with the HS and Jr. High Youth Groups.

As his music degree suggests, Josiah enjoys doing anything music related! On the occasion that he is not engaging with anything musical, he enjoys adventures, soccer, beautiful scenery, and hanging out with friends and family. Josiah is also a bird lover and is fond of spend time with his many chickens and emu who's name is Blue. He is an extrovert who is always excited to hang out and meet new people which God has fueled for his passion for ministry and his desire to serve at JBC.
