Hi, my name is Jamie Baker. I was born and raised in the Salem/Jefferson area and attended Salem Academy, Oregon State, and Pacific Lutheran University, where I earned my degree in elementary education.

In 1992 I married my wonderful husband Ryan, and together we have three adult children. Our son Andrew is a dentist in Beaverton, where he lives with his wife Julia. Our daughter Hallie is a nurse practitioner in Portland, and our youngest, Chloe, is currently living in Tennessee.

I have been teaching for approximately 25 years in various Christian school settings, with experience ranging from first grade through 12th grade, most recently at Santiam Christian School. My husband and I recently moved back to Jefferson from Salem to help on the family farm, which brought us back to our roots and led me to this wonderful opportunity.

I am so excited to serve at Jefferson Christian School and to love on kids and families in Jefferson and the surrounding community. My goal is to help children learn and grow in knowledge, but more importantly, to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
