Cameron Huguenin is a Jr.High Youth Pastor at Jefferson Baptist Church.

Cameron was born in Bellingham, WA, but was raised in the greater Seattle area by parents who planted Brookview Community Church, where they still serve today. At the age of 18, he moved to Haiti for five years, where he worked as a missionary and helped start, run, and teach at a school. In 2024, he moved to Salem to continue his education at Missio College, pursuing a bachelor's degree and training for a career in full-time ministry or missions.

During his time in Haiti, Cameron taught English in various settings. After about two years of serving in middle and high school, he co-founded an English training school for older teens and adults seeking to utilize their skills to advance their education and careers. Through this, he was able to foster relationships and have meaningful conversations with students about faith.

In June of 2025, Cameron joined the staff at Jefferson Baptist Church as the Jr.High pastor. He feels a strong calling to ministry and is eager to use his skills and experiences to create a space where students feel seen, loved, and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Cameron enjoys connecting with people from many different backgrounds and believes in the importance of loving and serving others. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, watching movies and TV, playing guitar, and connecting with his community over meals and fun outings. He is excited about the opportunity to serve in this capacity and desires to bring God’s kingdom to Earth wherever he is.
